The original tiny island painting won’t ever be for sale, because my son claimed it immediately, but now you can have your own in sticker form.
The tiny island painting came from late nights breast-feeding my firstborn child I kept feeling like I was a tiny island. I was hyper aware of the fact that this time would one day feel magical, nostalgic, sacred. I decided to paint my tiny magical island of isolation to have a visual during the newborn trenches. The tiny island has since become part of a series of tiny islands to remind myself and other’s that even when you feel alone, other people are feeling alone and therefore we are not a tiny island, we’re a part of an archipelago.
